Issue Health-checks

Issue Health Checks is the launch capability for TicketCoach and is designed to allow teams to identify high-risk issues based on some common rule-based checks.

A summary of the passed / warning checks can be viewed on an issue in a project that is included in the TicketCoach configuration.

Health Checks look at a growing list of issue details such as:

  • If the due date is set and is it current
  • If the due date has been changed fewer times than a set threshold
  • If the Sprint has been changed fewer times than a set threshold
  • If the issue has been in and out of an In-progress status more than a set threshold
  • If the duration the issue has spent In-progress is more than a set threshold
  • If the issue is In-progress and has an Assignee

More checks are being added all the time and can easily be switched on or off based on your team’s needs. Health checks can be run against issues in all projects, or in specific projects selected via configuration.

Our Health Check Rules Guide contains more detail on how these rules work.

Additionally, the Risk Level custom field that TicketCoach manages can be used to surface these at-risk issues using JQL queries like "Risk Level" = High
