At TicketCoach, we are security-first and are committed to your proprietary information remaining proprietary.

We are fully-transparent about how our software accesses and uses the data you store in Atlassian Products as well as why we ask for the App Scopes / Permissions that we ask for when installing our app.

Your Data

Your Issue and Project data never leaves Atlassian systems. TicketCoach runs entirely on the Forge development platform and does not transmit data to other systems for any reason.

We go to great efforts to ensure that issue data is not exposed in logs, which are also maintained entirely within Atlassian systems.

App Permissions

When you install TicketCoach, we ask for several permissions that provide access to the features and capabilities required for operation.

We have pared this back to the bare minimum required for TicketCoach to be able to assist your teams while maintaining a high-level of security.

Please review this page as this will be subject to change as the TicketCoach app grows in functionality

Specific scopes requested

The following details each scope we request and what we use it for.

read:issue:jira

This scope gives us access to read the details of a specific issue, including basic information, changelog events, and custom fields.

read:jira-work

This scope grants us the ability to search for and view details of an issue. We use this to read the basic issue details, access the changelog and read the value of the custom fields managed by the TicketCoach App.

write:jira-work

This scope grants us the ability to search for and view details of an issue. We use this to update the value of the custom fields managed by the TicketCoach App. We don’t currently write to other fields of your issue.

storage:app

This scope grants us access to write things to the storage databases provided by Atlassian on their systems. We use this to store the global configuration for TicketCoach for your Jira instance as well as the evaluation history of the issues. No proprietary information about the issues themselves is stored.

Any data written to storage is only available to the TicketCoach app in your instance.

Privacy Policy

We have a seperate page that deals specifically with our commitment to the privacy of your information under Australian Privacy Laws.
